Законопроект, предусматривающий выделение Конгрессом США [ Congress, U.S.] средств на осуществление программ, одобренных санкционирующим законопроектом [ authorization bill] и функционирование федеральных ведомств (в случае с ассигнованиями общего характера [general appropriation bill] или выделением дополнительных средств [supplemental appropriation bill]). В случае с выделением специальных ассигнований [special appropriation bill] предварительное принятие санкционирующего законопроекта не требуется. Ежегодно принимаются 13 законопроектов, выделяющих средства группам ведомств и на различные программы.
